It is time for that favorite fall Halloween tradition. Monday will be a homework assignment. If in spite of Halloween you complete your HW you will be entered to win the Halloween candy lottery. I will draw a few popsicle sticks in each class and IF you've done your homework you get the pumpkins or snickers or skittles you so desire.
Here is the homework if you want to get started. DO HOMEWORK and WIN CANDY.

Electrons in Atoms
These are the terms for this first part "Electrons in Atoms." Terms will be on Wednesday's (11/2) quiz. This unit isn't hard if you study bit by bit. It's not a unit you can catch up on the night before. After you've read the flashcards; try a game. How about a round of Space Race?

Answer sheets
This is last night's homework with answers we used in class today. I know the equations didn't copy. I'm working on it!
Test practice page 1 KEY
Please let me know if these don't work! I'm trying google documents and I think I like it but it's different. I'll pull up an entire key in class tomorrow.

Atomic Structure and Nuclear Decay TEST
Studying for the test should not be too stressful. We have time to review the test practice page in class before the test! Your classwork shows you know half life problems and nuclear equations pretty well. If you want more practice on those you can complete the "halfws" for extra credit (see paperclip on 10/24) or just try a problem from the PowerPoint called "Radioactivity and Half Life". (Click on the paperclip on Wed, 10/25).
Need more practice on nuclear equations? Try these multiple choice questions at sciencegeek.net
I'll be adding an oil drop experiment animation to the page later just for the curious.
Mole Day was great! Thank you for making great cards and sculptures!
TEST EXTRA CREDIT will be converting grams to moles and then atoms like #6 we studied in class today!
